The American Red Cross will offer meals in Robeson and Scotland counties on Monday.
According to Cari Dighton, with the American Red Cross, the following locations are fixed feeding locations for Monday evening’s dinner in Robeson County, which will start at 4 p.m.:
- Red Springs Community Center – 122 Cross St, Red Springs, NC
- Walmart – 2985 E. Elizabethtown Rd, Lumberton, NC
- Lumbee Boys and Girls Club – 120 Youth Drive, Pembroke, NC
- Hope Methodist – 410 W. Main St, Rowland, NC
- Lumberton JR High – 82 Marion Rd, Lumberton, NC
Authenix Sports Bar, located at 100 Rail Road Street in Maxton, will serve as a feeding center for Scotland County, Dighton also says. About 600 meals will be served from this location.
The Red Cross also feeds three meals a day at the shelters still open in Robeson County, according to Dighton. For more on shelters, click here.
According to the American Red Cross’ website, the American Red Cross of Eastern North Carolina Sandhills Chapter serves Robeson, Scotland, Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Moore, Richmond, and Sampson counties, with offices in Southern Pines, Rockingham, Laurinburg, Lumberton, and Fort Bragg.
