A convicted felon who was wanted for a number of serious charges that included second degree kidnapping, surrendered to investigators with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.
According to the sheriff’s office, Tommy Dale Barnes of Maxton surrendered at the Robeson County Courthouse.
The original incident happened on December 15, 2018, at a home on Jefferson Road in Maxton.
Deputies say multiple victims were assaulted and held at gunpoint and the victims said two suspects fired their weapons inside the house.
Barnes is now charged with felony conspiracy, second degree kidnapping, discharging a weapon in an enclosure to incite fear and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Barnes was put in jail with a $101,000 secured bond.
Christopher Locklear, of Lumberton, was arrested earlier this month. He faces the same charges.
