Rain chances will continue through the weekend. A slow moving storm system will approach the Carolinas through the weekend, and continue to impact our weather next week. This system is drawing tropical moisture northward, and it will stay rather cloudy and humid with a good chance for rain into next week. Warm and humid tonight with scattered showers. Thunderstorms tomorrow will be scattered once again, then become more widespread for the weekend and into next week. Rain and thunderstorms could bring heavy rain this weekend and for the first half of next week. A cold front will move through on Wednesday, pushing the tropical moisture offshore, and bringing in drier air for the second half of next week.
