A cold front will try and approach the Carolinas today but will stall before moving through. This will lead to a few more clouds than yesterday and a low chance for a stray shower. Even with the few clouds that will be in the sky, a lot of sunshine is expected most areas will stay dry and winds will be breezy and will come out of the southwest. This will begin to move in warmer air and allow temps to warm into the low to mid 80s. At the beaches, temps will be slightly cooler but nonetheless, still warmer than yesterday.
Monday highs will be kept in check with the weak front that approaches Sunday. Highs will still be warm in the upper 70s and low 80s. Starting Monday through Thursday, the forecast is largely a numbers game. Stacked high pressure in the lower and middle levels of the atmosphere will keep us dry. Temps will approach 90 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday away from the coast and could very well hit 90 one day.
A cold front will approach Friday though and bring back moisture, clouds and rain chances Friday night into Saturday.
