Rain chances will increase through the middle of the week. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a stray shower possible. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will return tomorrow, along with a mix of clouds and sunshine. More significant rain will move in Tuesday night and Wednesday. This rain will be pushed northward by the circulation around Hurricane Michael. The Hurricane is forecast to make landfall along the Florida Panhandle Wednesday, then track inland across the Southeast Wednesday night and Thursday. This will bring rain and wind to our area Wednesday night and Thursday, before moving away Thursday night and Friday. Cooler, drier air will move in behind the hurricane, bringing the first cool down of Fall.
