High pressure keeps the Carolinas dry and very warm over the next two days. Highs will be near the warmest we’ve seen all year. Overnight low will be very mild. This is all before a cold front moves through Friday with shower and storm chances.
Tonight skies will be mostly clear and temps will fall into the upper 50s and low 60s by Wednesday morning. Mostly sunny skies will prevail Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Along with the sunshine, warmer air will be moving up from the southwest. This will allow highs to climb into the upper 80s away from the coast.
A cold front will halt the warming trend Friday. While temps will still be warm, showers and storms that will move through mainly in the afternoon will limit maximum temps to the upper 70s to near 80. This cold front will clear the coast Friday night and cool temps off back to normal for the weekend. Highs Saturday will be in the 70s but will be nearing 80 again Sunday. The slow warming trend continues into the beginning of the week.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and warm. Highs in the 80s.
