Afternoon temperatures will be close to record highs for the next few days. Tonight will be partly cloudy and mild with patchy fog. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 50s. High pressure will continue to control our weather through the rest of the week, keeping temperatures above normal. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s along the Grand Strand, and close to 80 inland through Friday. A cold front will move through Friday night with a slight chance for a shower. It will turn much cooler for the weekend with high temperatures in the 50s. It will warm up again next week, but there will also be an increase in clouds and a chance for rain.
