Unsettled weather returns for the work week with cool temps and elevated rain chances. Tonight a warm front lifts north with an area of low pressure ride north along the front. This will help temperatures to rise overnight into the 60s. East of I-95 and along the coast will have a chance for a few strong to maybe severe storms from 10pm to 3am. Main threat will be an isolated damaging wind gust, and an isolated tornado as there will be a lot of spin in the atmosphere. Inland it’ll be just a chilly rain overnight. By Tuesday morning, that warmest air will settle in and high temperatures could occur in the morning and then slowly fall or hold steady as a cold front moves in and keep rain chances elevated. The front will try and push offshore but will struggle. Cooler temps will arrive for Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s to near 50. Rain chances continue Wednesday and Thursday before a cold and dry high pressure moves in for Friday and the weekend.
Monday: Cloudy, cool and rainy. Highs 56-58 inland, 66 beaches.
Tonight: Cloudy with showers & storms, not as cool. Lows 50s inland, 60s along the coast.
Tuesday: Cloudy mild and rainy. Highs in the mid 60s to near 72 at the beach.
