The more humid weather will continue, leading to scattered thunderstorms tomorrow and Friday afternoon and evening. A slow moving upper low will approach the southeast over the weekend, setting up a fetch of tropical moisture into the Carolinas. This will mean rather cloudy weather with widespread rain and thunderstorms this weekend and the beginning of next week. There will be a chance for heavy rain Saturday through Tuesday. A cold front will move through Wednesday, pushing the moisture offshore and bringing drier weather.
