The sunny, dry weather will continue into the weekend. High pressure will continue to control our weather, although it will move offshore this weekend. A cold front will approach the Carolinas this weekend, and stall to our north. There will be a slight chance for a shower Sunday, but most places will stay dry. That front will move into the area on Monday, bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms that will last into Tuesday. It will heat up and dry out Wednesday before the next front increases rain chances for the end of next week.
