A weak, dry cold front will move through tonight. A few higher level clouds will accompany the front but otherwise, it will pass through unnoticed. High pressure builds right back in for Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will be on the chilly side both days, including Christmas. Christmas will start off chilly with morning temps in the low to mid 30s and highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Clouds will start to move back in Wednesday and temperatures will begin to warm up Wednesday ahead of our next storm system. That storm system arrives Thursday night and will increase rain chances. As the warmer air moves north and the storm system gets stronger, there is a small possibility there could be a strong or severe storm on Friday. Increased rain chances could linger in the forecast through Saturday and Sunday. Area wide we could see once again 1-2 inches of rain with pockets of higher amounts.

Tonight: Passing clouds & chilly, Lows 39-42 inland, 44-46 beaches.
Monday: Sunny and cool. Highs near 58.
Christmas Day: Sunny and cool. Highs in the mid to upper 50s.
