Rain is likely overnight and expected to continue most of the day on Monday while colder air moves in. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 40s inland with temps near 50 at the beach to start the day Monday. We will see a break in the rain around daybreak before another round of showers moves in during the afternoon. The second round of showers could contain some heavy rainfall at times which is much needed. Showers will finally come to an end around 8 or 9 pm inland and last couple more hours along the coast.

The colder air will be filtering in all day so besides the rain Monday, winds will be breezy and temperatures will likely hold steady in the upper 40s to near 50 or even fall throughout the day. Winds will stay very breezy overnight Monday and temperatures could drop down to the freezing mark inland.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- High pressure will be in control and sunshine will prevail but colder temperatures will stick around with a reinforcing, dry cold front moving through Tuesday night. Highs will only top out in the low to mid 50s each day with overnight lows in the low 30s, even below freezing Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

Friday and into the weekend, we start another warm-up with the low 70s returning by Saturday. However, a few showers could move through Saturday and possibly last through Sunday but this is something we will have to keep an eye on.

Tonight: Cold temps with rain. Lows 44-46 inland, near 50 at the beach.

Monday: Breezy and cold with rain continuing. Highs upper 40s inland, near 50 at the coast.

Tuesday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the mid 50s.
