Dry and very warm this week with a summerlike pattern setting up. A weak boundary overhead tonight will lift north on Monday as a warm front. This will kick start a warming trend. sunshine will be abundant every day through Thursday. Highs will climb from the upper 70s and low 80s Monday afternoon to the mid to upper 80s and nearing 90 by Wednesday and Thursday. Rain chances will stay at bay thanks to high pressure in control near the surface and in the mid levels.

By Friday, a few more clouds will be in the sky and a low chance for showers returns ahead of a cold front. The cold front will drop into the Carolinas from the north and hang out Saturday and Sunday. This will allow rain chances to linger both days next weekend but it shouldn’t be a washout. Temperatures will be cooler as well with showers and clouds in the area.

Tonight: Mild. Lows 58 inland, 62 beaches,.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny and warm. Highs 84 inland, 78 beaches.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, even warmer. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
