A line of showers and storms will move into the area from 6pm through 11pm Sunday evening. We’ll see heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning. There is a “Slight” risk for one or two storms to become strong to severe. The main threat will be an isolated damaging wind gust, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.
A potentant low pressure system will move northeast draging a cold front offshore by Monday morning. As the system nears, a line of showers and storms will move into the area late this evening. There is a very small potential that a few of those storms could be a little on the stronger side. The rain will move away early Monday morning, then much colder weather will move in. Temperatures will fall below freezing Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We will see plenty of sunshine Wedneday with high temperatures in the mid 40s A warming trend will start Thursday, with temperatures back to normal by Friday.
