A wetter pattern will set up for the beginning of the week. Scattered storms this evening will clear out mostly overnight before rain chances go back up Monday morning. Temperatures will be muggy to start the day on Monday as there is plenty of moisture in the air. A tropical moisture feed will set up feeding moisture into the Carolinas Monday through Wednesday. The amount of rain we will see will depend on where exactly the moisture feed sets up. The latest models are suggesting the bulk of the moisture will stream into North Carolina leaving just widespread showers and storms over South Carolina instead of the chance for heavier, steadier rainfall. The showers and storms will be on and off through Wednesday and will likely come in waves. By Thursday, the moisture feed will wane and the coverage of storms will be a little less.
