Slightly drier Monday before scattered storms return midweek. High pressure in the Atlantic will take over for a day or so on Monday keeping us much drier than we’ve been the past 5 or 6 days. However, Monday will likely be the driest day of the next 7 days as the tropical air mass moves right back into the Carolinas on Tuesday afternoon. This will elevate ran chances again through Thursday. Slightly drier conditions come back for Friday before higher rain chances return for the holiday weekend. Temperatures will stay warm and humid in the afternoons with highs in the low to mid 80s each day.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Lows 68 inland, 70 beaches.
Monday: Partly sunny, isolated storms. Highs 86 inland, 82 beaches.
Tuesday: Scattered storms. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
