StormTracker13 Sunday Forecast

Tropical moisture has moved in and heavy rain is likely Memorial Day. Light to moderate rain is already falling across the Carolinas and there won’t likely be a break until Monday evening. Heavier pockets will begin Monday morning and flash flooding is possible. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for our region due to the possibility of 2-3″ falling area wide with pockets of up to 5 inches in localized spots. Don’t drive through flooded waters and take it easy on the roads.

More scattered rather than widespread showers will be around on Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will be warm and very humid. Ever so slightly drier air will move in Wednesday night through the weekend bringing rain chances down some but not out of the forecast. We should see more sunshine by the end of the week and that will warm temperatures back up to near 90 inland, mid 80s at the beaches.

Tonight: Cloudy with rain. Lows 70 inland, 72 beaches.
Memorial Day: Cloudy, heavy rain at times. Highs 82 inland, 78 beaches.
Tuesday: Cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Highs in the low to mid 80s.
