A very hot day is expected Sunday before relief comes next week. We could see possibly the hottest day so far this year on Sunday with a few spots inland approaching 100°. A Heat Advisory is in effect for “feels like” temps between 105-109°. Limit time outdoors and take breaks if you are, also drink plenty of water. Hot and humid temps continue into Monday but scattered storms come back into the forecast as a cold front approaches. Showers and storms will linger into Tuesday before temps cool off to near normal by midweek. Rain chances stay low but we can’t rule out showers and storms any one day. We’ll heat up again by the end of next week and into the weekend.

Tonight: warm and humid. Lows 78 beaches, 75 inland.
Sunday: Very hot, humid, isolated storms. Highs 92 beaches, 98-100 inland.
Monday: Hot and humid, scattered storms. Highs low to mid 90s.
