Hot, humid weather will continue through the rest of the week. High pressure over the Carolinas will keep it mainly dry tonight and tomorrow. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the low to mid 90s. The area of high pressure will move offshore on Friday, allowing deeper moisture to return to the Carolinas. This will give us a better chance for scattered late day thunderstorms. A weak cold front will move into the Carolinas over the weekend and stall. This will increase the chance for showers and thunderstorms over the weekend. With more clouds around over the weekend, it will be a little cooler, with highs in the 80s to near 90. Typical summer weather will continue next week with heat, humidity and a chance for a thunderstorm each day.
