Cold weather has returned, and it will last through the weekend. Clouds will clear this evening, and it will be windy and cold overnight. Low temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s. In places where the wind calms down, frost is possible tonight, but for most of us, it will be too windy for frost. High pressure will build in tomorrow, bringing plenty of sunshine. It will stay cool with high temperatures in the upper 50s to near 60. A few clouds will start to move in Friday as a front moves in and will stall over the Carolinas this weekend. This front will keep it cool, bring more clouds and bring a chance for showers. Warmer weather will return by the middle of next week.
