That plume of tropical moisture will finally push offshore on Friday, bringing more sunshine and a lower chance for thunderstorms. It will also heat up with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s Friday and Saturday. A cold front will move into the Carolinas Sunday and Monday with a better chance for thunderstorms, and a dip in temperatures Highs will be in the 80s Sunday and into next week.
