Hot, humid weather will continue through the middle of the week. Tonight will be another warm and muggy night with patchy dense fog developing, especially inland from the coast. High pressure will control our weather for the next couple of days, keeping it mainly dry with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s. On Friday the center of the high will move offshore, allowing deeper moisture to return to the Carolinas. This will bring back the hit or miss, late day thunderstorms. Not everyone will see rain each day, but the chance for thunderstorms will be there through the weekend. It will stay warm and humid with high temperatures in the 80s and low 90s.
