The hot, humid weather will continue through the rest of the week. The high pressure that has been persistent offshore will control our weather through the rest of the week. High temperatures will be in the 80s along the coast and low 90s inland. There will be a low chance for thunderstorms each day through Friday. A weak cold front will move into the Carolinas this weekend, bringing a better chance for showers and storms on Sunday. This front will quickly dissipate next week.

Tonight, partly cloudy, warm and muggy with patchy fog. Lows 71 inland, 74 beaches.

Tomorrow, partly sunny, hot and humid with scattered thunderstorms. Highs 92 inland, 88 beaches.

Thursday, partly sunny, hot and humid with a slight chance for a thunderstorm. Highs 85-90.
