The warm, humid weather with showers and thunderstorms will continue. The tropical airmass will linger over the Carolinas through Thursday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms, and the potential for heavy rain. High pressure will strengthen Friday and Saturday, drying us out for a bit. Rain chances will be lower, there will be more sunshine and it will be warmer with high temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s. A cold front will move into the Carolinas on Sunday and will stall in the area. This will bring back the higher chance for rain that will continue through Tuesday, plus it will lower temperatures a bit, with highs in the low to mid 80s to start next week.
