Gusty winds will bring in much cooler weather. A strong cold front will move through tonight with gusty showers and thunderstorms this evening, then clearing, windy and turning cooler overnight. The wind will continue tomorrow, gusting at times to 40mph We will see plenty of sunshine tomorrow, but it will be much cooler with highs in the low to mid 60s. High pressure will build in for the weekend, keeping skies mostly clear, but also keeping the cool weather around. High temperatures this weekend will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Night time low temperatures will fall into the 30s, and some spots in the Pee Dee could see temperatures near 32 Saturday and Sunday nights. The cool weather will continue next week. A cold front will move through Tuesday with a few showers that will linger into Wednesday, plus it will keep temperatures below normal through next week.
