The warming trend will continue into the weekend. A weak cold front will move by to our north tonight. While this front will not bring any cooler weather, it will be close enough to send scattered showers our way tonight. This will be long gone by morning, and the warmup will continue. High pressure will stay offshore through the weekend, leading to sunny, hot weather. Humidity will also continue to increase. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s away from the coast, and this is close to record highs. Next week the area of high pressure will weaken enough to allow a few more clouds on Monday, then showers and thunderstorms by the middle of the week. This increased moisture will cool us a few degrees, but it will stay humid.
