A very hot day is expected today before relief comes next week. We could see possibly the hottest day so far this year, with a few spots inland approaching 100°. A Heat Advisory is in effect for “feels like” temps between 105-109°. Limit time outdoors and take breaks if you are, also drink plenty of water. Hot and humid temps continue into Monday but scattered storms come back into the forecast as a cold front approaches. A few scattered showers and storms are likely along the sea breeze Monday early afternoon, then we’ll see another line of showers and storms moving in from the west as the cold front gets closer. With the amount of heat some storms could be a bit on the stronger side.  Showers and storms will linger into Tuesday before temps cool off to near normal by midweek. Rain chances stay low but we can’t rule out showers and storms any one day. We’ll heat up again by the end of next week and into the weekend with another front bumping up the rain chances by Friday into Saturday.

Today: Very hot, humid, isolated storms. Highs 92 beaches, 98-100 inland.
Tonight: Warm & muggy. Partly cloudy. Lows 74-76 inland, 78 beaches.
Monday: Hot and humid, scattered storms. Highs low to mid 90s.
