The storm system that brought the heavy rain to the coast, and showers to the Pee Dee has moved away, taking the rain with it. Today looks like a nice day with sunshine and temperatures near normal. Afternoon isolated to maybe Scattered thunderstorms will develop late in the day, and continue through the evening as another cold front gets closer.  A better chance for rain and thunderstorms will return on Sunday as the front slows down. The front is expected to stall across the area this week with an upper level low to the west. The combination of the 2 systems will lead to a very wet patteren this week. This wet weather will continue well into the week, and heavy rain and flooding will be a concern, especially by the middle of next week.
