A mixture of sunshine and thunderstorms will continue into the weekend. Typical late July weather with warm temps and afternoon storms will continue both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances increase early next week as tropical moisture moves back into the Carolinas. Expect widespread showers and storms Monday and Tuesday, possibly lingering into Wednesday. Temperatures will be kept a few degrees cooler thanks to abundant cloud cover and rain.
