The wet weather will continue with the possibility for heavy rain the next few days. A front stalled to our west, and high pressure to the east will continue to funnel moisture northward into the Carolinas from the tropics. This wet weather pattern will continue through Thursday. It will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms each day. Heavy downpours will occur with the strongest storms, and flooding is possible. Mostly cloudy skies will keep temperatures in the 80s through the rest of the week. High pressure offshore will build back toward the Carolinas by the end of the week. This will bring more sunshine and dry us out a bit for the weekend. Temperatures will warm back to normal, near 90.
