Our weather will dry out and heat up for the middle of the week. A few showers will linger through the evening hours, then we will dry out overnight. Dense fog is possible tonight, especially in the Pee Dee. High pressure will build in tomorrow through Thursday, bringing drier weather, more sunshine and temperatures back in the 90s. A stray thunderstorm is possible tomorrow, but most places will stay dry through Thursday. By Friday, the area of high pressure will move offshore, allowing the scattered afternoon thunderstorms to return. This typical summertime weather pattern will continue through the weekend.
