High pressure in control of our weather will keep us dry and chilly overnight. We’ll start this evening with mostly clear skies, then turning partly cloudy overnight. Temperatures in the Pee Dee will drop into the upper 30s while beach locations near the low 40s. High pressure will start to slide offshore and we’ll see a very nice warm up mid week. Tuesday will be similar with slightly more sunshine as high pressure builds right overhead. High pressure holds on and begins to meander offshore through Thursday which will warm temps up very quickly. Highs by Thursday should be approaching 80° if not warmer than that. A cold front will likely swing though Friday bringing a round of showers and maybe a rumble of thunder as well as knock down temps for the weekend. Saturday highs will only climb into the mid 60s.
Tonight, increasing cloudys, chilly. Lows 37-39 inland, 41 beaches.
Tuesday, partly cloudy and cool. Highs 58-62.
Wednesday, mostly sunny and warmer. Highs 74-76 inland, 70-72 beaches.
