Hot and humid temps will continue through Sunday with a low chance for an isolated shower or a storm each day. High pressure in the Atlantic will continue to keep us mostly dry but temperatures will stay well above normal. Afternoon highs will climb well into the mid 90s inland and low 90s at the beaches. “Feels like” temperatures will approach triple digits.
Monday, a cold front will try and move through from the north. This will increase rain chances as well as bring us some relief from the heat, especially for the middle of next week. If the cold front can move all the way through, high pressure will build in and we’ll dry out. Day time highs will be closer to average, near 90 inland and mid to upper 80s at the coast. If the front doesn’t make it all the way through, scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast for the middle of the week and the air will stay humid.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, warm and muggy. Lows 76 inland, 78 beaches.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Highs 96 inland, 92 beaches.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs in the low to upper 90s.
