The warm weather will continue through the weekend. High pressure will control our weather into Sunday with a mix of clouds and sunshine and high temperatures in the 70s and 80s. A strong cold front will move through Sunday night. Sunday is a WEATHER ALERT DAY for the risk for severe thunderstorms late in the day and at night. The main threat with these storms will be strong straight line winds and heavy rain. Much cooler weather will move in behind this front, and high Monday and Tuesday will be in the 60s. Warmer weather will return for the second half of next week.
