StormTracker 13 Friday Forecast

A total washout is not expected this weekend but rain chances do go up. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will pop up Saturday afternoon, mainly inland. Lightning and heavy rain will be possible within the cells that develop but they should not last long. Back-up plans to outdoor activities are suggested. Any showers or thunderstorms should wane down Saturday evening.

On Sunday, tropical moisture will begin to move in although rain will likely hold off until later in the day and into Sunday night. Neither days look like a washout but neither day will be completely dry either.

Monday through the middle of next week is a different story. Expect periods of rain, which will be heavy at times. This could lead to areas of flooding with an already saturated ground. An additional 2 to 4 more inches of rain is expected through the middle of next week as tropical moisture lingers.
