The hot, humid weather will continue into the weekend. The high pressure that has been persistent offshore this weaken as a cold front pushes into the Carolinas. This shouldn’t bring much change for Saturday, but there will be a better chance for thunderstorms on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s along the coast and low to mid 90s inland again Saturday, then in the 80s to near 90 on Sunday. The cold front will quickly dissipate early next week, keeping it hot and humid next week.
Tonight, mainly clear, warm and muggy with patchy fog. Lows 71 inland, 74 beaches.
Tomorrow, partly sunny, hot and humid with a stray shower. Highs 94 inland, 88 beaches.
Sunday, partly sunny, hot and humid with scattered thunderstorms. Highs 85-90.
