Storms expected this evening followed by colder temperatures

A Weather Alert Day has been issued for this evening. A warm front will lift north today bringing warmer temperatures and a slight chance for light showers through the early day. A potentant low pressure system will move northeast draging a cold front offshore by Monday morning. As the system nears, a line of showers and storms will move into the area late this evening. Time line for storms look to be around 6pm to 8pm for the Pee Dee and 8pm to 10 pm for the coast. The rain will move away early Monday morning, then much colder weather will move in. Temperatures will fall below freezing Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We will see plenty of sunshine Wedneday with high temperatures  in the mid 40s A warming trend will start Thursday, with temperatures back to normal by Friday.
