Still Warm and Muggy as a Cold Front Moves Through

A cold front will pass through today brining cooler and drier air into the Carolinas Tuesday. Skies will be mostly sunny and the front will pass through dry. Highs will still be in the upper 80s to around 90 today. The drier air will filter in this evening and temps will feel very comfortable tonight. Overnight lows will drop in to the low 60s and maybe even the upper 50s. Tuesday morning will be comfortable to say the least! Sunshine continues Tuesday with near normal highs in the mid to upper 80s. A slight chance for a thunderstorm or two returns Wednesday afternoon, especially inland, as temperatures heat up and moisture returns. Better chances for rain come in Thursday and last through the weekend as a wetter pattern sets up.

Today: Mostly sunny, warm and muggy. Highs 88-90 inland, 88 beaches.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cooler. Lows 58-62 inland, 65-66 beaches.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, not as hot. Highs 86-88 inland, 82-84 beaches.
