Periods of rain and storms this evening, but we will clear out for the weekend. A storm system moving up into the Gulf coast has spread clouds and rain into the Carolinas. Rain will continue throughout the evening and the first half of tonight.  For most places, it will be a cold rain with temperatures in the 50s… however, right along the coast, temperatures will hover in the70s this evening. As the storms moves out overnight, temperaures will start to fall.This storm system will move away tonight, and it will clear for the weekend, but will stay cool with high temperatures on Saturday in the 60s to near 70 on Sunday. A brief warm up Monday ahead of another warm front. A more significant warm up is possible by the middle of next week.

Tonight: cloudy and cool with rain ending late. Lows 46-52 inland, 54-56 beaches.
Saturday, partly sunny and cool. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.
