The clear, cool and windy weather will continue into the weekend. A strong storm system off New England will continue to generate wind over the Carolinas today. We will see lots of sunshine but chilly temperatures. Afternoon highs near 57-61 with sustained winds 15-25mph. Gust could be as high as 35mph. Tonight, clear skies and cold. Lows 34 for the Pee Dee to 38 beaches. High pressure will move in Sunday, lowering the wind, but keeping it sunny and cool with highs upper 50s to near 60. The cool weather will continue next week. A cold front will move through Tuesday with showers. Temperatures will stay in the 50s and 60s through the end of the week.
