The sunny, hot weather we saw Friday will continue through the weekend. High pressure will control our weather through the weekend and through most of next week. This will keep it sunny and hot with high temperatures close to records each day. No sea breeze is expected Sunday, and high temperatures will reach the low 90s along the coast to the mid and upper 90s inland. The heat index will range from 96 at the coast to 102 inland. High temperatures in the Pee Dee will stay in the mid to upper 90s and a few spots could hit 100 through next week. There will be a slight chance for thunderstorms by the end of next week.
