Our heat wave will continue through all of this up coming week with little to no rain chances. Upper ridge high pressure is in control and will be at it’s strongest through Wednesday. Each day through Wednesday we could see a few records tied or broken. Isolated showers and storms are possible from time to time, but most of us will stay hot and dry. Towards the end of the week, our heat dome will break down just a bit allowing for a cold front to approach by Saturday. This will give us our best chance for showers and storms. While it’s our best chance, it’s still very low. However, this will help to knock a few degrees off the temperatures.
