Hurricane Michael will weaken as it moves across Georgia tonight, and will move through the Carolinas as a tropical storm tomorrow. It will be windy tonight with periods of rain and thunderstorms. The wind and rain will continue tomorrow with a chance for tornadoes as Michael moves by. The worst of the weather will be in the morning through early afternoon. The wind and rain will wind down late afternoon. 1-3 inches of additional rain is expected tomorrow. Winds will gust as high as 50 mph tomorrow. A cold front will move through tomorrow night, bringing in much cooler and drier weather. High temperatures will be in the 70s through the weekend with lows in the 50s. A brief warm up is expected Monday ahead of the next cold front which will bring a few showers Monday, then another cool down for the middle of next week.
