On and off showers expected this weekend through much of next week

Rain chances are back and will continue through the weekend. Today’s cold front has pushed offshore and the cooler air is filtering in from the north. Even though clouds will stick around tonight, temps should fall into the upper 30s and low 40s by morning. Another storm system will approach late Sunday, keeping the chance for showers going. A series of fast moving storm systems will move across the Carolinas through next week. This will keep rain chances going each day, and will bring changeable temperatures – warm one day, then cooler the next. The best chances for significant rain will be Wednesday, then again Thursday into Friday.

Tonight: mostly cloudy, mist & drizzle. Lows upper 30s inland, low to mid 40s coast.
Sunday, mostly cloudy and cooler with scattered showers. Highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Monday: mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the upper 50s.
