Not as hot for the weekend

Scattered thunderstorms tonight will lead to cooler weather for the weekend. A weak cold front will move through overnight, bringing scattered thunderstorms. The chance for rain will push offshore late tonight, and it will stay mainly dry for the weekend. While it will not be as hot as it has been this weekend, temperatures will still be above normal with highs in the 80s and low 90s. Another cold front will move through Sunday night, cooling us down close to normal to start next week with highs in the 80s. It will warm back up by the end of next week with a chance for thunderstorms by the end of the week.

Tomorrow, partly sunny, not as hot. Highs 90 inland, 86 beaches.

Sunday, partly sunny with a slight chance for a thunderstorm. Highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
