A warming trend continues for the second half of the weekend but a few showers are possible. An area of low pressure will move by offshore but come close enough to the coastline so that some showers will affect the eastern Carolinas. Temperatures will stay mild though and not be nearly as cold tonight. Morinng lows will only fall to the mid to upper 40s. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 50s to near 60. The disturbance moving offshore will pull away Sunday night and take the shower chances with it. The warming trend will continue Monday and into the rest of the week with highs climbing into the mid 70s by Friday. We can expect a mixutre of sun and clouds most days.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with showers. Lows 44-48.
Sunday, partly sunny and mild with a chance for a shower. Highs in the low 60s inland, upper 50s coast.
