Hurricane Michael has made landfall as a strong Category 4 storm, it will bring us rain and wind on Thursday. Michael will quickly move through the Carolinas on Thursday with periods of heavy rain and gusty winds. There is also a chance for tornadoes. Conditions will worsen after daybreak with improvement expected by Thursday afternoon. It will quickly clear Thursday night, then Friday will be sunny and much cooler with lower humidity. Our first shot of cooler, Fall weather will last through the weekend with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. It will warm up on Monday with a chance for showers.
