Yesterday’s brief break from the heat has ended, and many inland places will be back in the 90s today. It will get even hotter heading into the holiday weekend. High pressure will start to strengthen today, and will bring sunny, hot and humid weather Friday through the weekend and into next week. The high pressure will weaken a little on Saturday as a back door cold front drops in from the north. This will keep us from getting quite as hot on Saturday but we’ll heat back up Sunday into Monday. Most places will stay rain free through the weekend. Most of next week will be dry as well as the heat and humidity continues. The strong ridge of high pressure will start to break down mid week and we won’t be quite as hot for the second half of next week.
Today, mostly sunny, warm and humid. Highs 92 inland, 84 beaches.
Tonight, mostly clear and warm. Lows 68 inland, 70 beaches.
Friday, sunny, hot and humid. Highs in the low to mid 90s.
