A weak cold front will move into the Carolinas late tonight into Tuesday, bringing a slight chance for a thunderstorm today and Tomorrow. Widespread rain is not expected. It will stay hot and humid for the first half of the week with a mix of sun and clouds and high temperatures in the 80s to near 90. High pressure will strengthen for the end of the week leading to more sunshine and hotter weather. High temperatures late week into the weekend will be in the low to mid 90s. Some areas could top out in the upper 90s to near 100. Temperatures inland could approach record levels by Friday and Saturday.
