The drier and comfortable air that settled in behind yesterday’s cold front will stick around through Sunday. High pressure is settling in behind the front and will keep the Carolinas free from much weather until Monday. Temperatures will be seasonable and feel more like mid-October rather than the dead of summer. Highs both days will climb into the mid 70s with lots of sunshine. Moisture and warmer temps return Monday with highs back in the 80s. Another cold front approaches Tuesday night with a chance for showers and storms. Behind it, cooler air returns for the end of the week.

Tonight: Clear skies, cool temps. Lows: 52 inland, 56 beaches.
Tomorrow: Sunny and comfortable. Highs 74-77 everywhere.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and comfortable. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.
